Scientific Poster Competition
The Scientific Poster Competition is your chance to showcase your work and potentially win a host of exciting prizes. With the opportunity to gain recognition and publish your findings, you'll be advancing your career while making a valuable contribution to the field. Get ready to make your mark in the medical laboratory industry!
- 15 abstracts will be displayed online on the Asia Health website and onsite during the event days
- Top 8 poster authors will have the opportunity to present their work in person at Asia Health 2023 this August
- The winner from each category; Radiology, CSSD, Patient safety & Infection control will get an opportunity to speak at Medlab portfolio (travel & accommodation included)
How the competition works
Participants can choose a topic aligned to one of the medical laboratory industry's niche areas and submit an abstract including an introduction, objectives, and conclusion.

- Max 300 words, font size 11, Arial (font type)
- You may include 1 figure or table only
- Be as specific as possible about the material you will cover on your poster
- Descriptions that are too short or vague will be considered incomplete

Competition details
Phase 1 - Submission
Out of all abstract entries, the top 15 selected will be displayed online on the Asia Health website and onsite during the event days
Phase 2 - Presentation
The Top 8 poster authors will have the opportunity to present their work in person at Asia Health.
The presentation will last for five minutes followed by a one-minute Q&A session.
Phase 3 - Speaking opportunities for Winner
Following the presentations, the judging committee will recognise the winning presenter from each of the three categories, will get an opportunity to speak at Medlab portfolio (travel & accommodation included)
