Most modern clinical chemistry analysers are capable of detecting HIL status and calculating an alert index, or threshold level, defined as the minimum concentration at which HIL interferes with a biochemical assay. This control has been designed to monitor an IVD instruments response in the detection of haemolysed, icteric, and lipemic samples. Used to improve pre-analytical error detection, this control provides a full range of clinically relevant testing levels, including a negative and 3 positive levels (+, ++ & +++).  Randox Serum Indices control displays improved consolidation, stability, and commutability to ensure laboratories are equipped to accurately determine pre-analytical interferences.
